We are hiring a skilled Field Service Technician / Millwright to perform maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and installation support on industrial machinery and process line equipment at customer facilities. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and can troubleshoot equipment issues independently in the field.

This position requires approximately 50% travel, but most jobs are local or regional with technicians typically home daily. Candidates must be flexible for occasional short-notice service calls to help minimize customer downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic equipment calibrations
\n
• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair roll grinding and lathe equipment
\n
• Travel to customer facilities for scheduled service and emergency support calls
\n
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical equipment issues on-site
\n
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and engineering teams
\n
• Support in-house shop projects when not traveling
\n
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
\n
• Ensure work is completed to quality and safety standards
\n

Qualifications & Skills:

\n
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
\n
• Experience working with industrial machinery or manufacturing equipment
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Comfortable traveling and being available for occasional emergency service calls
\n
• Strong blueprint reading and mechanical assembly skills
\n
• Good verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
\n

Preferred Experience:

\n
• Field service or industrial maintenance experience
\n
• Millwright or machinery repair background
\n
• Experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, lubrication systems, or piping
\n
• Manufacturing or process line equipment experience
\n
