Position Overview

The Multi-Modality Technologist is qualified to conduct at least two procedures, specifically CT and X-Ray. This role requires regular support for additional modalities, necessitating availability for work in those areas and the ability to provide on-call coverage. The technologist is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care and adheres to the professional standards expected of a registered technologist.

Qualifications
  • Patient Age Range: All age groups.
  • Essential Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Completion of an accredited Radiology program.
  • Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Key Skills
  • Understanding of radiographic procedures and practices.
  • Ability to explain exams and procedures to patients effectively.
  • Proficient in computer software with troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with imaging equipment and other patient care devices.
  • Maintains proficiency in at least two modalities.
Licensure and Certifications
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two different Radiology modalities through state regulations, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.
Experience Requirements
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in Radiology.
