Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Location: Akron, Ohio

Our organization is in search of a MIGS Specialist to become part of our employed physician team. We are currently evaluating candidates with a surgical background who also possess an interest in pelvic medicine. The scope of our practice encompasses various aspects of pelvic health, including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar conditions, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Please note that this role does not involve obstetrics.

The chosen candidate will join our multi-specialty medical group, which consists of nearly 700 healthcare providers employed by our health system. Based in Akron, Ohio, we are recognized as one of the largest integrated healthcare delivery systems in the state, featuring two hospitals and over 20 health centers that ensure access to care across the region.

Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Completion of a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.

  • Possession of an unrestricted Ohio medical license or a willingness to obtain one.

  • Active participation in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

  • A dedication to evidence-based, standardized care within a patient-centered, team-oriented environment.
