Our Organization - Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology

We are currently looking for a full-time faculty member to become part of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology within our Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This position presents a fantastic chance to work in a dynamic academic environment, offering a comprehensive array of clinical, surgical, and educational resources.

About the Department:
  • A comprehensive tertiary care department featuring:

    • 30 physicians, both part-time and full-time

    • 10 advanced practice providers

    • 2 full-time genetic counselors

    • 24 residents and 6 fellows

  • More than 2,500 deliveries annually

  • Annual ambulatory clinic visits exceeding 18,000

  • Over 2,000 general surgical cases and 250+ family planning procedures each year

  • Patient demographics include complex maternal and fetal co-morbidities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver general obstetrical and gynecological care in both inpatient and outpatient environments

  • Participate in hospital and home call duties

  • Engage in educational activities for medical students and residents

  • Explore opportunities for clinical research

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution

  • Eligible for or currently holding a license in New York State

  • Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

  • Demonstrated strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Passionate about teaching and academic medicine
