\nLocation: Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding areas
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour BOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-Time/Contract to Hire
Position Summary
\nWe are seeking experienced Commercial Electricians to join our team for projects throughout the Pittsburgh, PA area. This position offers steady, full-time work on commercial construction and renovation projects with opportunities to work alongside skilled trades professionals in a safety-focused environment.
\nThe ideal candidate will have experience with commercial electrical installations, be able to work independently or as part of a crew, and take pride in producing quality workmanship while maintaining job site safety.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and components. \n
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction drawings. \n
- Install and terminate conduit systems including EMT, Rigid, and PVC. \n
- Pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring and cable. \n
- Install panels, transformers, switchgear, disconnects, and electrical devices. \n
- Install lighting systems, receptacles, switches, and other electrical equipment. \n
- Perform electrical rough-in and finish work on commercial construction projects. \n
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as needed. \n
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with NEC requirements and local electrical codes. \n
- Work safely while following OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. \n
- Maintain a clean and organized job site. \n
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and fellow tradesmen to ensure project milestones are met. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Minimum of 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred. \n
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings. \n
- Experience bending and installing conduit. \n
- Knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations. \n
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. \n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. \n
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Pittsburgh area. \n
- OSHA 10 Certification is preferred but not required. \n
- Valid driver's license is preferred. \n
Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. \n
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments. \n
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding when required. \n
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying job site conditions. \n
