Job Description

Job Overview: Requirement/Must Have: Minimum 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in Healthcare domain. Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe frameworks. Proven experience in PI Planning and program-level coordination. Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams. Strong understanding of Agile delivery models, SDLC, metrics, and governance. Responsibilities: Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams in a healthcare environment. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement. Drive Agile maturity and ensure adherence to Agile/SAFe best practices. Lead and support PI Planning activities, including planning readiness and coordination, dependency identification and management, risk assessment and mitigation. Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, Architects, and Stakeholders. Coach teams on Agile principles, SAFe practices, and continuous improvement. Identify and remove impediments and blockers impacting delivery. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration. Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively. Monitor and report Agile metrics, including velocity, sprint burndown/burnup, predictability, and sprint health. Nice to Have: Knowledge of Healthcare systems (Claims, Enrollment, Member, Provider workflows). Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA awareness). Skills: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Advanced CSM - Mandatory. SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Agilist (SA) - Preferred. Additional Agile/Lean certifications are a plus.
