Journeyman Electrician – Michigan Projects

We are seeking Journeyman Electricians for two commercial electrical projects in Michigan. These opportunities are ideal for experienced electricians looking for immediate work. Candidates will perform commercial electrical installation, renovation, conduit runs, wire pulls, fixture installation, and related electrical work.

Job Type: Full-time
Locations: Gaylord, MI or Midland, MI
Pay: $28–$30/hour (day shift project); night shift pay may vary
Per Diem: $140 per day worked, when applicable

    Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, plus 8 hours on Friday

    Schedule: Night shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning

    Pay: Based on experience

    • \n
  • \n

    Per Diem: $140 per day worked, local preferred

  • \n

    Project: Commercial electrical work for a Meijer store renovation

Duties & Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities.

    • \n
  • \n

    Perform conduit runs, wire pulls, and fixture installations.

    • \n
  • \n

    Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.

    • \n
  • \n

    Use hand tools and electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.

    • \n
  • \n

    Renovate and modify existing electrical systems to meet project specifications and electrical codes.

    • \n
  • \n

    Collaborate with construction teams to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

    • \n

Experience & Requirements

  • \n

    Journeyman Electrician experience required.

    • \n
  • \n

    Proven experience in commercial electrical construction.

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.

    • \n
  • \n

    Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.

    • \n
  • \n

    Familiarity with hand tools and electrical testing equipment.

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • \n
  • \n

    Ability to work effectively in a commercial construction environment.

    • \n
  • \n

    Willingness to work night shift for applicable projects.
