Position: Pipe Welder

Job Location: Pascagoula, MS

Hutco Branch: Moss Point, MS

Rate of Pay: $52.00 per hour and $180.00 per-diem for those who qualify

Description:

Pipewelders are responsible for performing pipe welding procedures on stainless steel, and copper nickel pipe using the TIG welding process.

Requirements:

\n
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a pipe welder
\n
• Must have GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (STICK) experience.
\n
• Must be able to pass X-Ray welding test on stainless steel and copper nickel in the 6G position (restricted)
\n
• Pipe welding test is given in a restricted position (6G) on a 5" schedule 80 carbon steel pipe.
\n
• GTAW (TIG) process is used to weld the root and an 11018 electrode is used to weld the fill portion and cap. This is for X-Ray quality.
\n
• Must be able to pass drug screen (HFT) and background check
\n
• Must be able to work all shifts.
\n
• Must be able to work in confined spaces, ascend and work at heights, under all weather conditions.
\n
• Must be a citizen, with a permanent resident card or proof of citizenship.
\n
