\nThe Auto Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, and attention to detail . The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more experience in collision repair, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.\n

\n*Key Responsibilities:*\n

\n* *Damage Assessment:* Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine the extent of repairs needed.\n
\n* *Repair Planning:* Develop a detailed plan for repairs, including parts and materials required.\n
\n* *Body Repair:* Perform all phases of auto body repair work, including metal work, frame straightening, welding, and alignment.\n
\n* *Parts Replacement:* Remove and replace damaged parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and panels.\n
\n* *Quality Control:* Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.\n
\n* *Safety Compliance:* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.\n
\n* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.\n

\n*Qualifications:*\n
\n
\n* Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto body repair.\n
\n* Proficient in using auto body repair tools and equipment, including welding machines, riveters, and frame straightening machines.\n
\n* Strong understanding of vehicle construction and repair techniques.\n
\n* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair estimates.\n
\n* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.\n
\n* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.\n
\n* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.\n
\n* ASE certification in collision repair is a plus.\n
