Procurement ManagerSalary: £60k - £65k + 10% bonusLocation: RemoteOur client has been on a mission to bring gigabit-speed full fibre broadband to thousands of homes across the UK. They're building a network that connects people, communities, and businesses with fast, reliable broadband that makes everyday life easier.The business is entering an exciting stage of growth, with ambitious plans for the future. To help us deliver on those plans, we're looking for a Procurement Manager who can bring commercial insight, strong financial governance, and a passion for improving processes.This is a key role within our Finance function, responsible for ensuring our purchasing activity is efficient, compliant, and delivers real value for the business. You'll act as a trusted financial gatekeeper, working closely with teams across the organisation to support smart decision-making while maintaining robust controls.The Role:As Procurement Manager, you'll own and oversee our end-to-end procurement and purchasing processes, ensuring all spend is necessary, legitimate, correctly approved, and aligned with business objectives.You'll manage our purchasing framework, provide financial oversight for purchase approvals, and ensure strong governance across all areas of procurement. You'll also play a key role in developing our purchasing systems and processes, working with internal teams and external partners to drive improvements.Key responsibilities will include:Acting as the delegated financial authority for purchase approvals, ensuring spend is supported by a clear business need, available budget, correct coding, and appropriate approval levels.Owning the purchasing process within Salesforce, ensuring it supports efficient, compliant, and auditable procurement activity.Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring procurement policies are consistently applied.Partnering with stakeholders across the business to enable timely, value-driven purchasing decisions.Working with software providers and implementation partners to enhance procurement systems and workflows.Managing third-party supplier onboarding, ensuring all legal, regulatory, insurance, and compliance requirements are met.Providing reporting and insight into procurement activity, spend trends, and cost-saving opportunities.Supporting Finance with accurate cost recognition, accruals, and management reporting.What we're looking for:We're looking for someone with strong procurement, finance, or commercial finance experience who understands the importance of balancing business agility with financial control.You'll ideally have:Experience working within TelecommunicationsSignificant experience in a finance, procurement, or commercial finance role within a medium to large organisation.Proven experience managing purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes and approval frameworks.Experience reviewing and approving spend against budgets, business cases, and cost centres.Strong knowledge of finance systems, including purchase requisitions, approvals, supplier data, spend analysis, and GL coding structures.Experience using Salesforce or similar workflow-based procurement systems (desirable).Experience working with IT teams and external software partners to improve or implement financial systems.Experience supporting internal controls, audits, and governance processes.The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT, Leadership teams, and external suppliers.You'll be:Commercially minded – able to challenge spend constructively while helping teams achieve their goals.Detail-focused – ensuring accurate coding, documentation, approvals, and financial data integrity.Process-driven – passionate about improving systems, automation, and ways of working.A confident communicator – able to explain financial decisions clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.Analytical and curious – able to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to optimise costs.Trusted and accountable – someone who takes ownership and acts with integrity as a financial guardian for the business.For more information on this role, please contact Scarlet Wilson.TPBN1_UKTJ
