Freelance Site Engineer LutonLocation: Luton, Bedfordshire LU1 2LTContract Type: Fixed-Term / Project ContractDuration: Approx. 1218 monthsOverviewWe are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join a major industrial and logistics development in Luton (LU1 2LT) on a 2-week contract , starting 27 July the role will support the site delivery team, ensuring accurate setting out, quality control, and coordination of construction activities while maintaining high health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out setting out and surveying for building works and external infrastructure.Interpret engineering drawings and specifications .Work closely with project managers, subcontractors and design teams .Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.Maintain site records and as-built documentation .Support site inspections, snagging and project handover .Assist in maintaining health and safety standards on site .Project InformationIndustrial Development Luton16-acre industrial and logistics schemeApproximately 26,000m² of warehouse space across multiple unitsDesigned for manufacturing, distribution and e-commerce occupiersTarget completion: Q4 2026RequirementsExperience working as a Site Engineer on industrial or commercial projects .Strong knowledge of setting out equipment (Total Station / GPS) .Experience with groundworks, drainage, steel frame or infrastructure works .CSCS card required (SMSTS/SSSTS desirable).??
