Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours a week)

Your Role\n

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our Building Solutions North team. You’ll be managing commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract and subcontract management. Expect to spend 3+ days a week on-site or in the office, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.

What Will You Be Responsible For?\n

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
\n
• Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, while placing orders for materials and plant.
\n
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.
\n
• Measure and value work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
\n
• Produce monthly VCRs and End Life Forecasts, managing cash flows effectively.
\n

What Are We Looking For?\n

• You possess strong communication skills and have experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.
\n
• You hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable) and have experience in a similar role.
\n
• You have excellent organizational skills and can prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
\n
• You’re flexible, able to work collaboratively, and can take initiative.
\n
• You are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
\n
