The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Manage and oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Lead tax planning initiatives designed to optimize the organization's tax position.
- Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide recommendations to management.
- Review income tax provisions and support financial statement tax reporting.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization.
- Develop and improve tax processes, controls, and documentation.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for tax staff.
- Support special projects, acquisitions, business initiatives, and other strategic activities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA required or strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or industry.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Experience with tax compliance, tax provision, and tax planning activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and tax software platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting.
- Experience with multi-state, corporate, partnership, or international tax matters.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Exposure to ERP systems and tax technology solutions.
