A growing manufacturer of advanced electrical and electromechanical products is seeking a Production Assembler to support the assembly, testing, and fabrication of complex systems. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on assembly experience who can read engineering drawings and enjoys working in a team-oriented production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Use soldering irons, solder pots, hand tools, and other assembly equipment
- Perform wire stripping, crimping, harness installation, and sub-assembly work
- Complete final assembly of large electrical and electromechanical systems
- Support engineering with prototype builds and product development activities
- Identify assembly challenges and recommend improvements to tools, fixtures, and processes
- Assist team members with assembly-related questions and technical guidance
- Maintain compliance with quality management system requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to work from engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications
- Must be authorized to work in compliance with applicable export regulations
- 3+ years of experience as a Production Assembler or Manufacturing Technician
- Experience assembling electromechanical products or equipment
- Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
- Familiarity with multimeters, torque tools, force gauges, and related manufacturing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and move items up to 30 pounds without assistance
- Ability to use soldering equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and assembly tasks
