Production Assembler

Overview

A growing manufacturer of advanced electrical and electromechanical products is seeking a Production Assembler to support the assembly, testing, and fabrication of complex systems. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on assembly experience who can read engineering drawings and enjoys working in a team-oriented production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Use soldering irons, solder pots, hand tools, and other assembly equipment
  • Perform wire stripping, crimping, harness installation, and sub-assembly work
  • Complete final assembly of large electrical and electromechanical systems
  • Support engineering with prototype builds and product development activities
  • Identify assembly challenges and recommend improvements to tools, fixtures, and processes
  • Assist team members with assembly-related questions and technical guidance
  • Maintain compliance with quality management system requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications
  • Must be authorized to work in compliance with applicable export regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Production Assembler or Manufacturing Technician
  • Experience assembling electromechanical products or equipment
  • Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
  • Familiarity with multimeters, torque tools, force gauges, and related manufacturing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 30 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to use soldering equipment safely and effectively
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and assembly tasks
