Maintenance Tech (Alma)

The maintenance technician will work with the team to troubleshoot production issues, provide preventative maintenance to equipment and repairs as needed

.

Duties/Responsibilities:

\n
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (Air Compressor, Rolling Stock, Production Machinery, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
\n
• Able to troubleshoot machinery/reading schematics.
\n
• Perform timely repairs on hand tools as needed (e.g. drills, saws).
\n
• Communicate needs with purchasing department proactively.
\n
• Repair/rebuild welding leads.
\n
• Use knowledge to perform maintenance during production when there is an issue as needed.
\n
• Practice proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures if applicable.
\n
• Fill Loctite cartridges for departments as needed.
\n
• Store tools and materials in proper locations when not in use.
\n
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
\n

Required Skills/Abilities:

\n
• Prior experience working preventative maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
\n
• Electrical background helpful.
\n
• Use various power and hand tools, experience required.
\n
• Able to read and use a tape measure.
\n
• Read and follow work instructions.
\n
• Able to work 40 - 60 hours a week.
\n
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
\n
• Good attendance is a must.
\n

Physical Requirements:

\n
• Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
\n
• Must be able to move up to 75 pounds at times.
\n
• Follow health and safety rules.
\n
• Wear PPE as required.
\n
