Job Title: Mechanic / Vehicle TechnicianLocation: Poulton le Fylde, BlackpoolSalary: £35,000 to £42,000 per annum depending on experienceEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday every other weekJOB OVERVIEWWe're recruiting a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician for our client, a busy and well run workshop based in Poulton le Fylde near Blackpool. This is a full-time, permanent position covering a varied mix of private and commercial vehicles across servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding.Our client is open on experience level. This is a long term opportunity with strong earning potential for the right person.RESPONSIBILITIESCarry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of private and commercial vehiclesDiagnose and fault find mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and technical manualsRepair or replace components to a high standardUse workshop tools and equipment confidently on a daily basisWork independently when required and as part of the wider workshop teamFollow health and safety procedures at all timesMaintain accurate records of all work carried outWelding work where applicableQUALIFICATIONSStrong mechanical ability and hands on experience (essential)Experience with servicing, diagnostics, repairs and fault findingConfident using diagnostic equipment and workshop toolsOrganised, reliable and self motivatedGood problem solving ability and attention to detailAbility to work independently when requiredWelding experience (desirable, not essential)Previous workshop experience (desirable, not essential)WHAT WE OFFERSalary of £35,000 to £42,000 depending on experienceStrong earning potential for the right candidateVaried, hands on role across private and commercial vehiclesLong term, stable position within a busy workshopMonday to Friday with 1 Saturday every other weeTPBN1_UKTJ
