Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

\nProHealth Partners, Inc. currently has Part COTA opportunities available in the Sandusky/Lorain service area to treat and service home bound patients.\n
\nThe ideal candidate will hold a state license for Ohio. Our fun and caring team provides our therapist with valuable resources offering documentation support so that you are able to focus on what matters most, patient care.\n

\nJob Responsibilities:\n
\n
\nCommunicating daily with office staff to accept new patients, complete paperwork and turn in payroll\n
\nKeeping open communication with patients and home health agencies to promote a positive and caring experience\n
\nFacilitating communication with Lead Occupational Therapist to manage patient care\n
\nCompletion of in home therapy service, education to patients and caregivers and diligent detailed notes on all paperwork\n
\nAttend meetings (as needed with the Fremont therapy team)\n
\n
\nJob Requirements:\n
\n
\nDegree in Occupational therapy from an accredited school\n
\nCurrent Occupational Therapy Assistant License for the state of Ohio\n
\nAbility to travel to patient’s home or facility\n
\nStrong communication skills\n
\nHome healthcare experience preferred\n
