LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to recruit a legal biller. This full time position is ideal for a detail oriented billing professional with experience supporting attorneys and legal staff in a fast paced law firm environment. The role is responsible for managing the client billing process, ensuring accuracy, maintaining compliance with client guidelines, and supporting the firm's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, review, edit, and finalize client invoices in accordance with firm policies and client billing requirements
• Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to review time entries, billing narratives, and invoice accuracy
• Process billing adjustments, write offs, transfers, and corrections as needed
• Manage electronic billing submissions through various client billing platforms
• Monitor invoice status and resolve billing rejections, discrepancies, and payment issues
• Generate and distribute monthly billing reports and financial summaries
• Maintain accurate billing records and client account information
• Assist with accounts receivable follow up and collection efforts when necessary
• Respond to attorney and client inquiries regarding billing matters
• Ensure compliance with client specific billing guidelines and outside counsel requirements
Qualifications
• Prior legal billing experience in a law firm environment required
• Strong understanding of legal billing procedures, attorney time entry, and client invoicing processes
• Experience using legal billing software and electronic billing platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, accounting personnel, and administrative staff
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential financial information

Benefits:

Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
