\n\nThe Boeing Company is looking for a Calibration Technician A to join our team in Everett, WA.
\n\nPosition Responsibilities:

Plan, check, set up, and operate, basic and advanced Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and/or process equipment
\n - \n
Use calibration standards (dimensional, electrical, thermal, and optical) to calibrate, adjust, certify, maintain, and repair M&TE/process equipment using approved calibration procedures, process specifications, equipment drawings, and M&TE /process equipment manufacturer's performance specifications
\n - \n
Conduct routine tests, analyze data and document results
\n - \n
Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of shop floor equipment, laboratory and test-related problems
\n - \n
Route M&TE/process equipment between receiving area, customer, and calibration lab
\n - \n
Coordinate with customers to calibrate stationary equipment while limiting machine downtime
\n - \n
Update equipment status using established systems and complete associated paperwork
\n - \n
Ensure equipment is ready for calibration per metrology processes
\n - \n
Prioritize and perform work according to automated daily report list, hot list, or as assigned by team lead or manager
\n - \n
Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear
\n - \n
Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with metrology lab processes
\n - \n
Provide information and clarification to customers on metrology processes
\n - \n
Develop and review new calibration processes and procedures
\n - \n
Perform computations necessary to analyze measurement test results
\n
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
\n\nThis position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
\n\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)
\n - \n
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
\n - \n
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
\n
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
\n- \n

Bachelor's degree in a technical field in lieu of experience in calibrating and/or using Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)
\n - \n
Precision metrology equipment lab training
\n

\n\nSummary Pay Range: $33.32/hour to start for new union members, with potential to earn up to $61.01/hour at max pay
