Location: Columbia, MD (Fully Onsite)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $19-$23/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team in Columbia, MD. This fully onsite, contract-to-hire position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products in and out of our facility.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team in Columbia, MD. This fully onsite, contract-to-hire position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products in and out of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Accurately document and label incoming and outgoing materials
- Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring compliance with shipping standards
- Maintain inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
