The Maintenance & Automation Supervisor will lead maintenance, reliability, and automation initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance & Automation Supervisor will lead maintenance, reliability, and automation initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for improving equipment uptime, supp o rting automation projects, and driving continuous improvement across plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated equipment, including conveyors, robotics, sensors, and PLC-controlled machinery.
- Lead automation and equipment improvement projects from installation through startup and optimization.
- Develop and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
- Partner with engineering and technical teams on equipment upgrades, process improvements, and smart manufacturing initiatives.
- Utilize CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities, work orders, and asset history.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and technical support to maintenance and production teams.
- Promote a strong safety culture and support daily manufacturing operations as needed.
- 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- 1+ years in a leadership, supervisory, or lead role.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- CMMS experience and continuous improvement mindset.
