LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a prestigious multilocation law firm in Dallas, TX, to identify an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations and support the firm's continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader with strong accounting expertise, legal industry experience, and the ability to drive financial strategy, reporting, and process improvements.
This hybrid role requires four days in the office and one day remote and offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $180,000-$225,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of monthly financial reporting packages, management reports, and financial analysis.
- Lead monthly variance analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning across multiple office locations.
- Oversee payroll and accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Support shareholder agreement requirements and ongoing compliance initiatives.
- Coordinate annual tax preparation and filings with the firm's external accounting partners.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend strategies when appropriate.
- Manage relationships with banking partners and ensure compliance with credit agreements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and financial compliance processes.
- Drive business intelligence initiatives and leverage data analytics to improve financial visibility.
- Oversee the integration and optimization of firm-wide financial systems and technology platforms.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiencies.
- Partner closely with the Director of Finance and firm leadership on financial strategy and initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with shareholders, clients, banking partners, and vendors.
- Represent the firm through active participation in relevant professional organizations.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the firm's objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience within a multilocation law firm is required.
