Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Accounts Payable
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable for multiple commercial properties
- Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding and payment
- Submit quarterly escrow draw requests to lenders
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare standard journal entries
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Generate budget variance and financial reports
- Support special projects and internal reporting initiatives
- Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 100 employees
- Verify pay rates, hours worked, deductions, and payroll accuracy
- Maintain payroll records and employee data
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and company policies
- Process employee onboarding, terminations, and personnel changes
- Maintain HRIS records and support digitization of employee files
- Coordinate employee performance review processes
- Assist with workers' compensation administration
- Support benefits administration and annual census reporting
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Required
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential employee and financial information
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Experience with accounts payable and month-end accounting functions
- Prior exposure to property management, real estate, or commercial property accounting
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually
