Credit Controller

Location: LeatherheadWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the officeContract: 3 months initially, with potential for extension Rate: £17-£18 per hour + holiday pay

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a busy finance team based in Leatherhead. This is an initial 3-month temporary assignment, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

The role will involve managing a portfolio of accounts and supporting the wider finance function with credit control and accounts receivable activities. You will be dealing with a range of customers and clients, including working with 3rd party organisations, as well as handling timesheet-related queries and invoicing.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing outstanding debts and proactively chasing overdue payments
\n
• Maintaining accurate customer account records
\n
• Handling queries relating to invoices and payments
\n
• Liaising with customers and internal teams to resolve account queries
\n
• Working with customer accounts
\n
• Supporting with timesheet-related queries and ensuring accurate invoicing
\n
• Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
\n
• Providing regular updates on outstanding debts and aged debt
\n
• General accounts receivable and credit control administration
\n

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable
\n
• Strong communication and customer service skills
\n
• Good attention to detail and organisation
\n
• Experience dealing with invoice and payment queries
\n
• The ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
\n
• Immediate or short-term availability is highly desirable
