Yard & Production OperativeLocation: High Wycombe, HP15Salary: £26,500£30,000 (negotiable DOE)Job Type: Full - time, PermanentHours: 08:00 17:00 Monday to Thursday & 07:00 16:00 FridaysAbout the RoleThe company is looking for a hardworking and reliable Production & Yard Operative to join their growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of their busy production facility and yard.Working closely with the Production Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of goods handling, stock control, yard organisation, production support, and machinery operation. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Due to rural location, candidates must have own transport.A full UK Driving Licence is beneficial.Key ResponsibilitiesLoading and unloading lorries safely and efficientlyReceiving, checking, and booking in deliveriesAccurately measuring and cutting products to specificationIdentifying, picking, and preparing stock accuratelyRecording, storing, and putting away materialsMaintaining a tidy, organised, and safe yard environmentAssisting the Production Manager with daily operational tasksOperating plant, machinery, and production equipmentSupporting production and dispatch activities as requiredFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesAbout YouThe successful candidate will be:Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling dutiesReliable, hardworking, and punctualConfident working both independently and as part of a teamAdaptable and willing to turn their hand to a variety of tasksComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsAble to work accurately and pay attention to detailExperienced in a warehouse, yard, production, manufacturing, or construction environmentConfident using machinery, plant, or workshop equipmentDesirable ExperienceStructural Steel/Construction sector experienceForklift licence (advantageous but not essential)Experience operating plant or production machineryStock control and goods-in/goods-out experienceWhat We OfferSick payVaried and active working environmentOpportunity to develop skills and responsibilitiesSupportive team atmosphereCompany eventsOnsite parkingWorkplace pensionOvertime28 days a year including bank holidaysCompetitive salary based on experienceIf you are practical, dependable, and enjoy a hands-on role within a busy construction-focused environment, we would like to hear from you.The employer fully supports Equality in Employment.
