Location: Cricklewood, North London (3 days per week in the office)Salary: Up to £65,000 + excellent benefits

Cedar is partnering with a well-established, large-scale transport business to recruit a Qualified FP&A Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercially focused finance team within a business that operates across multiple UK sites and is backed by a strong international parent company.

\n

\n

This is a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making. You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance analysis and board reporting, making a real impact on business performance.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Lead and support the annual budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes.
  • \n
  • Produce detailed financial models to support business decisions and investment cases.
  • \n
  • Deliver insightful variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial performance.
  • \n
  • Produce and monitor financial and operational KPIs for senior management.
  • \n
  • Partner with finance and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • \n
  • Support month-end reporting, board packs and executive-level analysis.
  • \n
  • Develop and enhance reporting through improved use of Excel, data and analytics.
  • \n
About You\n
    \n
  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - essential.
  • \n
  • Previous experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Analysis within industry.
  • \n
  • Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting.
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, including financial modelling, handling large datasets and building robust reporting models.
  • \n
  • Confident analysing financial data and turning insights into commercial recommendations.
  • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • \n
  • Commercially minded, proactive and naturally analytical.
  • \n
