FP&A Analyst
Job Description
Location: Cricklewood, North London (3 days per week in the office)Salary: Up to £65,000 + excellent benefits
\n\nCedar is partnering with a well-established, large-scale transport business to recruit a Qualified FP&A Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercially focused finance team within a business that operates across multiple UK sites and is backed by a strong international parent company.
\n\nThis is a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making. You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance analysis and board reporting, making a real impact on business performance.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Lead and support the annual budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes. \n
- Produce detailed financial models to support business decisions and investment cases. \n
- Deliver insightful variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial performance. \n
- Produce and monitor financial and operational KPIs for senior management. \n
- Partner with finance and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve performance. \n
- Support month-end reporting, board packs and executive-level analysis. \n
- Develop and enhance reporting through improved use of Excel, data and analytics. \n

- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - essential. \n
- Previous experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Analysis within industry. \n
- Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting. \n
- Advanced Excel skills are essential, including financial modelling, handling large datasets and building robust reporting models. \n
- Confident analysing financial data and turning insights into commercial recommendations. \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders. \n
- Commercially minded, proactive and naturally analytical. \n
