We're working with a well-established, highly respected medium-sized business within the hospitality sector that is looking for a confident finance professional to join their friendly and supportive team This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys taking ownership of the purchase ledger function. The Role You'll be responsible for managing a busy purchase ledger from the outset, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:\n

- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices with speed and accuracy. \n
- Matching, batching and coding invoices. \n
- Investigating and resolving supplier queries in a professional and timely manner. \n
- Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring outstanding items are cleared. \n
- Assisting with payment runs. \n
- Building positive working relationships across the business and with external suppliers. \n
- Supporting the wider finance team where required. \n

- Previous experience within a high-volume purchase ledger role. \n
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision from day one. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. \n
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving queries efficiently. \n
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise professionally at all levels. \n
- A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team. \n

- £15 - £17 per hour. \n
