\n\nA growing construction and development group is hiring a Document Controller / Information Manager to support multiple live façade remediation, recladding and single-family housing projects. With thousands of drawings, revisions, technical submissions and Building Safety records now moving through Aconex and SharePoint, the business needs a dedicated professional to bring structure, compliance and control to its information management.
\n\nThis role will operate across Multi-Family and Single-Family Housing, providing a shared service that ensures teams work from the correct information, approvals flow efficiently, and Building Safety Act requirements are met.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:

- Manage CDE systems - Maintain Aconex/SharePoint as the single source of truth for all project information \n
- Control document revisions - Ensure teams never work from superseded drawings or specifications \n
- Maintain registers - Keep accurate registers for drawings, technical submissions, approvals and Building Safety documentation \n
- Support Golden Thread compliance - Manage legally required information under the Building Safety Act \n
- Coordinate approvals - Track consultant and subcontractor submissions, ensuring timely review and sign-off \n
- Improve workflows - Implement structured processes for information release, RFI management and change control \n
- Support project teams - Free up PMs and Design Managers by handling document administration \n
- Audit and reporting - Provide visibility of outstanding actions, risks and compliance gaps \n
What We're Looking For:
\n\n- \n
- Experience as a Document Controller or Information Manager in construction \n
- Strong understanding of CDE platforms (Aconex, Viewpoint, SharePoint or similar) \n
- Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail \n
- Ability to manage high volumes of drawings, revisions and submissions \n
- Understanding of Building Safety Act / Golden Thread principles (advantageous) \n
- Confident communicator able to work across multiple project teams \n
