About the Opportunity
\nBecome a vital member of the dynamic manufacturing team within OME (Optronics and Missile Electronics), driving industrialisation projects and providing ongoing support throughout production. You will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Management team.
\nIn this role, you will apply a range of techniques tailored to each phase of the product lifecycle, including but not limited to:

- Cost estimation supporting bids, covering both direct and indirect costs, alongside scheduling \n
- New Product Introduction processes, including MRL, PRR, FAI, DfX, PFMEA, tooling and test equipment \n
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) \n
- Reviewing engineering definition files, and preparing and approving manufacturing documentation \n
- Defining assembly and testing processes \n
- Managing non-conformances and engineering changes during production \n
- Monitoring product costs to ensure efficiency \n
- Collaborating closely with Workcell/APRU Managers to meet target KPIs \n
- Identifying and implementing improvements using Lean methodologies \n
About You

- Adaptable, quick learner, and a flexible team member \n
- Committed to meeting deadlines with strong time management and prioritisation abilities \n
- Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) \n
- Familiarity with industry software such as Oracle, Palma and Mestec \n
