We are working with a highly successful and rapidly growing business based in the heart of Cardiff to recruit a Financial Accountant on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Due to continued growth and an increased workload, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced organisation where you can make an immediate impact.

There is strong potential for the contract to be extended, making this an ideal opportunity for an ambitious part-qualified or qualified accountant seeking exposure to a dynamic and evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs

\n
• \n

  Delivering accurate financial analysis and insight to support decision-making

\n
• \n

  Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting processes

\n
• \n

  Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial controls

\n
• \n

  Partnering with key stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and challenge

\n
• \n

  Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements

\n
• \n

  Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency

\n
• \n

  Supporting ongoing projects linked to business growth and transformation

\n

About You:

\n
• \n

  Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA

\n
• \n

  Previous experience within a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance role

\n
• \n

  Strong financial reporting and analytical skills

\n
• \n

  Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities

\n
• \n

  Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

\n
• \n

  Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

\n
• \n

  Available to start immediately or at short notice

\n
