- Manage the end-to-end delivery of civil engineering projects from mobilisation to completion \n
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget \n
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors \n
- Maintain operational oversight of multiple projects where required \n
- Lead project planning, sequencing and resource allocation activities \n
- Implement recovery plans where programme or budget risks are identified \n
- \n
- Maintain a strong site presence and oversee daily operations \n
- Monitor project performance, productivity and quality standards \n
- Lead site meetings, toolbox talks and progress reviews \n
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with specifications and drawings \n
- Manage subcontractor performance and site coordination activities \n
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability \n
- \n
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and CAD plans \n
- Undertake or oversee setting out activities, including levels, coordinates and gradients \n
- Produce and maintain project programmes using Microsoft Project \n
- Monitor project costs and work closely with commercial teams to achieve margin targets \n
- Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities and material take-offs \n
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities \n
- \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders \n
- Provide regular project reporting, forecasts and programme updates \n
- Represent the business at client meetings and senior project reviews \n
- Ensure a professional and proactive approach to customer service \n
- Protect and enhance the company's reputation through successful project delivery \n
- \n
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Environmental and CDM regulations \n
- Promote best practice across all projects and site operations \n
- Lead by example in maintaining safe systems of work \n
- Ensure quality assurance processes and inspections are completed effectively \n
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and operational performance \n
- \n
- Proven experience as a Civils Project Manager, Project Manager or Senior Site Manager within civil engineering \n
- Strong background delivering: \n
- Groundworks \n
- Drainage \n
- Infrastructure projects \n
- Remediation works \n
- Civil engineering construction projects \n
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and site teams \n
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and programme management \n
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications \n
- Experience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office \n
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience \n
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required \n

- NVQ Level 6 Construction Site Management (Black Card) \n
- NEBOSH General Certificate \n
- IOSH Managing Safely \n
- Experience producing Bills of Quantities and material take-offs \n
- Experience undertaking setting out activities \n
- \n
- SMSTS (Essential) \n
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a similar civils or infrastructure environment \n
- Additional training and professional development will be supported where required \n
