The role We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a supportive and friendly residential property team. You will assist fee earners throughout freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, helping transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:\n

  • Opening files and completing initial administration
  • \n
  • Assisting with client onboarding, ID checks and AML requirements
  • \n
  • Ordering searches and preparing property documentation
  • \n
  • Drafting standard correspondence and forms
  • \n
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
  • \n
  • Providing updates and responding to routine enquiries
  • \n
  • Supporting fee earners with exchange and completion
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date files
  • \n
About you You will have previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Assistant within a residential property department. You should be organised, approachable and confident communicating with clients and other professionals. Good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities are also important.
