This growing regional practice is looking for a Tax Manager to join their Firm in either Manchester, Altrincham, Chester or Bury, paying a salary of £56,000 - £67,000.The Firm prides itself on its supportive culture, exciting growth journey and strong reputation for quality advisory work. You'll be part of a close-knit Tax Advisory team that thrives on solving complex challenges, delivering brilliant client service and developing its people at every level.

Tax Manager responsibilities:\n

As a Tax Manager, you'll be a key member of the Advisory team - supporting business owners and high-growth clients on a wide range of tax planning and structuring matters.

Your role will involve:

  • \n

    Partnering with Tax Directors and Senior Managers on complex advisory and compliance projects

    • \n
  • \n

    Delivering high-quality advice on acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, EOTs, share schemes, incorporations and remuneration planning

    • \n
  • \n

    Leading HMRC enquiry responses and reviewing junior team work

    • \n
  • \n

    Acting as a trusted technical resource for smaller firms and internal teams

    • \n
  • \n

    Coaching, developing and inspiring junior members of the tax team

    • \n
As a Tax Manager you will:\n

  • ACCA / ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
    • \n
  • Circa 3+ years' post-qualification experience in tax within practice
    • \n
  • Experience advising OMBs on corporation tax, income tax and CGT matters
    • \n
  • Exposure to VAT is a plus, but not essential
    • \n
  • Strong communicator with a proactive, hands-on attitude
    • \n
