An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join a high-performing finance team as an Operational Finance Business Partner. This role suits someone who cut their teeth in Management Accounts and has moved into a Finance Business Partner position. Thrives in a fast-paced, commercial environment and is looking to develop their career with genuine progression and long-term growth prospects.

Reporting into a senior finance lead, you will act as a trusted partner to operational leaders, providing insight, challenge and support to drive financial performance. You will be heavily involved in decision-making, forecasting and performance analysis, helping shape commercial outcomes across the business.

Key responsibilities as Oprational Finance Business Partner include:

• Acting as the lead finance contact for senior operational stakeholders
\n
• Producing and interpreting management accounts, forecasts and budgets
\n
• Delivering clear financial insight, KPI analysis and performance reporting
\n
• Supporting rolling forecasts, long-range planning and annual budgeting
\n
• Building and maintaining financial models to aid decision-making
\n
• Reviewing P&L performance, identifying risks and opportunities
\n
• Driving continuous improvement in financial reporting and processes
\n

You will ideally have:

• Full qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
\n
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
\n
• Proven ability to business partner and communicate with senior stakeholders
\n
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills (Power BI or similar desirable)
\n
• A proactive, adaptable mindset suited to a changing, fast-moving environment
\n
• Confidence working to deadlines with multiple priorities
