With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence and continuous improvement, they are investing in their repairs and maintenance service to ensure residents receive a responsive, efficient and customer-focused experience.Your new roleAs Responsive Repairs Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of a high-performing responsive repairs service, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.You will manage a team of supervisors, operatives and contractors, driving service performance while ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained.Key responsibilities include

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of responsive repairs.
  • \n
  • Leading and developing repairs teams to achieve operational and customer service targets.
  • \n
  • Monitoring performance against KPIs, service standards and budgets.
  • \n
  • Managing contractor performance and ensuring value for money.
  • \n
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • \n
  • Working closely with residents and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
  • \n
  • Identifying opportunities for service improvements and implementing best practice.
  • \n
  • Producing performance reports and using data to drive operational decision-making.
  • \n
  • Supporting the delivery of a customer-first culture across the service.
  • \n

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced repairs professional with a proven track record of managing responsive maintenance services within social housing, property services or a related sector.You will also have:

  • Previous experience managing responsive repairs operations.
  • \n
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • \n
  • Experience managing direct labour teams and/or subcontractors.
  • \n
  • Sound knowledge of building maintenance and repair processes.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
  • \n
  • Experience managing budgets and driving value for money.
  • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to analyse performance data and implement improvements.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • \n
