Meraki Talent is delighted to be partnering with a globally recognised investment management firm to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior Associate for its growing Edinburgh office.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified Corporate Tax professional looking to make their first move into industry, or for someone already working in-house who is seeking broader international exposure within a dynamic global business.

\n

Unlike many in-house tax roles, this position offers exposure well beyond UK corporate tax compliance, including international tax, tax accounting, governance, acquisitions and strategic projects.

\n

The Role

\n

Reporting directly to the Tax Director, you will join a growing Group Tax function supporting a business with more than 300 legal entities operating across 20+ jurisdictions.

\n

You will play an important role in coordinating tax compliance, supporting international reporting requirements and helping drive improvements across the wider tax function.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Coordinate UK and international corporate tax compliance.
  • \n
  • Review corporate tax computations, returns and tax provisions.
  • \n
  • Support Pillar 2 and Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR).
  • \n
  • Coordinate Transfer Pricing compliance with external advisers.
  • \n
  • Assist with tax accounting and year-end reporting.
  • \n
  • Support tax governance, policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Drive AI and technology initiatives within the tax function.
  • \n
  • Work alongside finance teams and external advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
  • \n
  • Become involved in acquisitions, international expansion and strategic tax projects.
  • \n

About You

\n

You will ideally possess:

\n
    \n
  • ACA, CTA, ICAS or equivalent qualification.
  • \n
  • Strong UK Corporate Tax experience.
  • \n
  • Experience preparing or reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
  • \n
  • Tax accounting or tax reporting experience.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • \n
