With continued investment in innovation, technology and employee development, they are looking to appoint a motivated Apprentice Service Technician who is eager to develop their technical expertise while providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will join an experienced engineering team and follow a structured apprenticeship programme, working towards achieving Refrigeration and Air Conditioning NVQ Levels 2 and 3 alongside F-Gas certification. Throughout the programme, they will gain hands-on experience supporting planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, commissioning projects and customer service activities while developing the skills required to become a fully qualified Service Technician.Your Roles and Responsibilities: While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:\n

- Assisting experienced engineers with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and climate control equipment across a variety of customer sites. \n
- Learning how to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults while supporting repair and maintenance activities to return equipment to full operational performance. \n
- Attending customer sites to assist with breakdowns, warranty work, commissioning projects, equipment installations and hire activities. \n
- Building strong professional relationships with customers by delivering a courteous, reliable and customer-focused service. \n
- Working closely with Service Desk, Sales and Operations teams to ensure effective communication and an outstanding customer experience. \n
- Learning to use diagnostic software, engineering drawings, technical specifications and a range of specialist tools to identify faults and complete repairs. \n
- Supporting the completion of service reports, maintenance records and work order documentation accurately and within agreed timescales. \n
- Communicating effectively with Regional Service Managers, Lead Technicians, Field Service Representatives and customers to provide updates and contribute to continuous improvement. \n
- Studying towards Refrigeration and Air Conditioning NVQ Levels 2 and 3, gaining the technical knowledge and practical experience required to become a qualified engineer. \n
- Following company health and safety procedures and engineering standards at all times while working both independently and alongside senior engineers. \n
- Participating in a planned standby and call-out rota once fully qualified and F-Gas certified. \n
