The Role

We are seeking an experienced Subject Access Request (SAR) Officer to provide immediate support during a busy period following a cyber incident and the Stand Alone HR manager busy with an HR and Payroll system rollout.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is highly experienced in managing Subject Access Requests and can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to Subject Access Requests from receipt through to completion.
\n
• Review, identify and collate relevant information and sensitive personal data.
\n
• Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
\n
• Redact confidential information, including third-party personal data, names, salaries and other sensitive details where appropriate.
\n
• Liaise with HR, Payroll and other departments to gather required information.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and ensure requests are completed within statutory deadlines.
\n
• Support the organisation with data governance requirements following a recent cyber attack.
\n

About You

\n
• Proven experience handling Subject Access Requests in a busy environment.
\n
• Strong understanding of UK GDPR, data protection legislation and SAR processes.
\n
• Experience reviewing and redacting highly sensitive and confidential information.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
\n
• Available at short notice and able to commit to the duration of the assignment.
\n
