Tenancy Management Coordinator£26,552.53 per annum37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Harbour House, PrestonLooking for a role where you can make a genuine difference every day? This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is genuinely interested in a housing support role, highly organised, enjoys helping people, solving problems and making a positive difference to local communities.As one of our Tenancy Management Coordinators, no two days will be the same. You'll help make our communities safer and support customers through challenging situations. You'll be the first point of contact for reports of anti-social behaviour, safeguarding concerns, environmental and tenancy issues, helping our tenants access the right support at the right time.Working closely with customers / tenants, colleagues within Housing Services and other departments, and partner agencies including the Police and Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service, you'll help facilitate responses to community safety concerns, support some of our most vulnerable customers and ensure our records and systems are maintained to a high standard.What we are looking for:Strong experience in a high-volume administration/coordinator role within a customer service environment.An excellent communicator with exceptional listening skills, who can build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and partner organisations.Someone who can remain calm, professional and empathetic when dealing with customers experiencing difficult or challenging circumstances, demonstrating resilience and emotional maturity in what can sometimes be a demanding role.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload whilst maintaining attention to detail.A confident IT user, problem-solver and collaborative team player who can gather information, assess situations, identify the most appropriate next steps and handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.It would be great if you also had:Experience working in social housing, community safety, support services, local government or a similar customer-focused environment.Knowledge of anti-social behaviour, safeguarding or tenancy management processes.Experience using housing management, customer relationship management (CRM) or case management systems.Working arrangements:This role is based full-time at our modern dock-front offices in Preston.
