Site Manager (Part-Time) Start Date: ASAP
\nA welcoming and community-focused primary academy within a respected multi-academy trust is seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of its premises.This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, organised and self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining safe, secure and well-presented facilities for children, staff and visitors.
\nThe Role
\nAs Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school environment. Duties will include:

- Managing the security of the school site, including opening and closing procedures \n
- Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and minor DIY tasks \n
- Overseeing contractors and supporting site improvement projects \n
- Managing health and safety requirements, compliance checks and statutory inspections \n
- Maintaining school grounds to a high standard \n
- Responding promptly to site issues and emergencies as they arise \n
- Supporting the setup of rooms and facilities for school events and activities \n
- Working closely with school leaders to ensure the premises effectively support teaching and learning \n
About You
\nWe are looking for someone who:

- Has practical maintenance, caretaking or facilities management experience \n
- Possesses strong DIY and problem-solving skills \n
- Has a good understanding of health and safety responsibilities \n
- Can work independently and use initiative effectively \n
- Is reliable, flexible and responsive to the needs of a busy school environment \n
- Communicates well with staff, contractors and external agencies \n
- Takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for children \n
Previous experience within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
