If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you!A welcoming and well-respected secondary school in Sheffield is seeking an experienced interim Examination Manager to join their dedicated support team. \nYour new roleAs interim Examination Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth running of all internal and external examinations, ensuring every process is delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with awarding body regulations.Key responsibilities will include:
\nProducing and distributing examination timetables
\nOrganising and coordinating internal and external examinations
\nRecruiting, training, supervising and managing invigilators
\nLiaising with examination boards, staff, parents and students
\nEnsuring controlled assessment marks, predicted grades and examination entries are accurately recorded and submitted
\nManaging examination paperwork, compliance and regulatory requirements
\nSupporting results days and post-results services
\nKeeping up to date with examination regulations and attending relevant
\nWhat you'll need to succeedWe're looking for a highly organised and proactive individual who can confidently manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.You'll ideally have:
\nPrevious experience working as an Examinations Officer or Examination Manager
\nStrong knowledge of current examination regulations and procedures
\nExcellent IT and administrative skills
\nOutstanding organisational and time management abilities
\nThe ability to remain calm under pressure and meet strict deadlines
\nStrong communication skills and the confidence to work with staff, students, parents and external agencies
\nThe ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider school team
\nA positive, professional and solution-focused approach
\nAll applicants will be subject to satisfactory references covering the last two years and must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if one is not already held on the Update Service.
