Counterbalance Forklift Driver – 80% FLT / 20% WarehouseShift: 4 On / 6 Off – 12-hour rotating shifts (2 Days / 2 Nights)Salary: £25,000 starting salary £14.46ph pay increase after probationWe are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is 80% forklift driving and 20% warehouse duties, supporting production by ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.Key Responsibilities\n

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely to transport materials throughout the site
\n
• Carry out warehouse duties including stock movement, housekeeping, and general operational support
\n
• Complete material movement transactions using a computer terminal
\n
• Ensure production lines are supplied with materials to maintain continuous operations
\n
• Perform routine checks on equipment and report any faults promptly
\n
• Maintain IT equipment, material handling equipment (MHE), and storage areas
\n
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
\n
• Assist with maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments
\n
• Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organised, and safe
\n

Essential Requirements\n

\n
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
\n
• Ability to work a 4 On / 6 Off rotating shift pattern (2 Days / 2 Nights)
\n
• Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
\n
• Good computer skills with the ability to complete system transactions
\n
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
\n
• Experience using Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
\n
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
