HGV Class 1 Trampers

An established and growing transport business is currently looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join its team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This opportunity offers consistent year-round work, strong earning potential and the chance to secure a permanent position with a respected operator following a successful temporary period.

The role will initially involve covering holiday and sickness requirements across the fleet before progressing into a permanent position for the right candidate.

• Average earnings of approximately £1,100 per week
\n
• OTE £50,000 - £57,000 per annum
\n
• Temp-to-perm opportunity after 10 weeks
\n

Drivers will be required to:

\n
• Operate Class 1 articulated vehicles
\n
• Occasionally drive rigid vehicles when required
\n
• Carry out mainly curtainsider work
\n
• Undertake occasional container shunting duties
\n
• Complete an average of 2-3 nights out per week
\n
• Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance
\n

Average working hours are approximately 65 hours per week.

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
\n
• Have a minimum of 2 years' Class 1 experience
\n
• Be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
\n
• Have a good command of spoken and written English
\n
• Be willing to undertake tramping work
\n
• Demonstrate a professional and reliable approach to work
\n
