  • Managing hire projects from order confirmation through to successful completion, ensuring all deadlines and customer expectations are met
  • \n
  • Procuring equipment, materials and subcontractor services required to support customer projects
  • \n
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout each project
  • \n
  • Coordinating project activities with service engineers, technicians and sales teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • \n
  • Providing regular progress updates to customers while managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • \n
  • Scheduling equipment, resources and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • \n
  • Monitoring project costs, budgets and financial performance to maximise profitability and maintain commercial control
  • \n
  • Communicating technical project information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • \n
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and service delivery
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently
  • \n
What You Will Need to Apply: The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working within project coordination, project administration, hire desk, service coordination or a similar operational role, ideally within an engineering, HVAC, manufacturing or technical services environment. Applicants should possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, engineers and internal stakeholders at all levels. The ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences will be highly beneficial. Previous experience within project engineering, equipment hire or manufacturing environments would be advantageous, as would an engineering qualification or technical background. The successful individual will be proactive, adaptable and commercially aware, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach. They will be confident working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team and possess strong Microsoft Office skills.What You Will Get in Return: For the successful candidate, a salary of up to £34,000 per annum will be offered, dependent upon experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
