Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run dealership in Reading seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:\n

\n
• Conduct comprehensive service checks and diagnostic procedures on various vehicle makes and models
\n
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and testing, including MOTs (advantageous but not required)
\n
• Carry out wheel alignments ensuring workshop standards are consistently met
\n
• Maintain high standards of vehicle repair quality and workshop cleanliness
\n
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold the professional image of the dealership
\n
• Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop safety standards are maintained
\n
• Support other vehicle servicing and repair tasks as required
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Relevant qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
\n
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry
\n
• MOT testing experience is advantageous but not essential
\n
• Motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to expand technical knowledge
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality workmanship
\n
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high workshop standards
\n
