Temporary Gold Card Electrician – Commercial Solar PV Project Location: Bradford Duration: 6 Weeks Job Type: Temporary Start: Immediate We are currently looking for an experienced Gold Card Electrician to join a 6-week commercial retrofit Solar PV project in Bradford . The project involves installing Solar PV systems on new-build warehouses , working as part of an experienced electrical team. Duties: Installation of commercial Solar PV systems. Installing metal containment and traywork. Running strings from solar panels to inverters. Cutting, fitting and installing metal containment. Using an angle grinder to modify containment. Operating scissor lifts to carry out work at height. Working safely and efficiently on a busy commercial site. Essential Requirements: ECS Gold Card. NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation. AM2 qualification. IPAF Licence (3a/3b) – able to operate scissor lifts. Previous commercial electrical installation experience. Confident working at height. Experience with containment and metal traywork. Own angle grinder and standard electrical hand tools. Full PPE. Desirable: Previous Solar PV installation experience.
