Single-Site Engineer (Electrical Bias)Kings Cross, London£50,000 – £55,000 per annumWe are recruiting for an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer / Site Engineer to join a well-established Building Services provider on a prestigious commercial property in Kings Cross. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a flagship single-site contract, offering long-term stability, ongoing training, and genuine career progression within a growing organisation.This is a Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm position where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day engineering operations across the site. Working independently, you will deliver both planned preventative and reactive maintenance while liaising closely with the client and coordinating specialist subcontractors when required.The successful candidate will be electrically qualified, with a strong background in commercial building services maintenance and the ability to confidently manage a site with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceElectrical fault-finding and diagnosticsMaintenance of single and three-phase electrical systemsEmergency lighting testing and maintenanceFire alarm system checks and fault responseSprinkler system monitoringMaintenance of AHUs and FCUsGenerator inspections and basic maintenanceWorking on VAV and VRF systemsServicing pumps and motorsWater treatment tasks, including temperature monitoring, tap tests, dosing, and cooling tower checksOperating and monitoring the Building Management System (BMS)Maintaining site documentation, e-logbooks, compliance records, and statutory paperworkCoordinating and supervising specialist subcontractorsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsSupporting compliance audits and ensuring site standards are maintainedRequirements Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)Recognised apprenticeship (desirable)Minimum of five years' experience within commercial building services maintenanceStrong electrical fault-finding skillsAble to work independently and manage a single-site operationExperience maintaining compliance documentation, site logbooks, and e-log systemsGood communication and organisational skillsAuditing experience is advantageousBenefits £50,000 – £55,000 per annumMonday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pmNo call-out rotaCompany pension schemeOvertime opportunities availableOngoing training and professional developmentExcellent opportunities for internal career progression within a respected building services organisationTPBN1_UKTJ
