Your Impact

As Deputy Manager, you'll play a key role in the leadership of the home.

You'll lead shifts, support staff performance, promote best practice and help ensure children receive safe, consistent and high-quality care.

You will also contribute to:

• Staff supervision and development.
\n
• Care planning and risk management.
\n
• Safeguarding and quality assurance.
\n
• Ofsted preparedness.
\n
• Audits and service improvement.
\n
• Operational decision-making.
\n

When the Registered Manager is absent, you'll confidently step into the leadership role and maintain oversight of the home.

What We're Looking For

\n
• Experience within children's residential care.
\n
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and legislation.
\n
• Experience leading teams and supporting practice.
\n
• Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification.
\n
• Working towards or willing to complete a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
\n
• Full UK driving licence.
\n
