Vehicle Technician

We are working on behalf of a prestigious brand dealership in Maidstone, Kent, to recruit a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic. This is a permanent role offering excellent career development opportunities within a highly regarded automotive environment. • Competitive basic salary ranging from £34,000 to £37,000, depending on experience

• OTE up to £43,000 with additional earnings through a £3,000 Productivity Bonus and Time Saved Bonus Scheme

• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota (8:30am to 12:30pm)

Duties:\n

\n
• Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
\n
• Performing servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
\n
• Conducting additional repairs with customer authorisation
\n
• Completing warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards
\n
• Road testing vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
\n
• Completing all relevant paperwork to high standards
\n

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic:\n

\n
• Full UK driving licence is essential
\n
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is required
\n
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, from dealer groups or independent garages, is preferred but not essential
\n
• Motivated, ambitious, and eager to expand skills
\n
• Ability to work to high standards and deliver excellent customer service
\n
• Previous experience with a reputable brand is advantageous but full training will be provided
\n
