Finance Business Partner

Our client, is delivering an ambitious finance transformation programme and needs an experienced accountant to lead the change while keeping business-as-usual running smoothly. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on role for someone who can redesign processes and manage a change of systems just as confidently as they prepare journals and reconciliations.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a review of end-to-end finance processes, simplifying and standardising where possible
\n
• Manage the transition to fuller use of existing finance systems, including supporting implementation and user acceptance testing
\n
• Improve financial controls, reduce manual spreadsheets and remove single points of failure
\n
• Strengthen BAU delivery — monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and journal preparation — improving accuracy, consistency and turnaround
\n
• Document robust finance procedures and produce clear process maps to embed change for the long term
\n

What we're looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong management accounting background
\n
• Proven experience delivering finance transformation and managing systems change
\n
• Comfortable working independently in a changing environment, building relationships quickly
